How it works

    Drag the start and end handles or type the times. Add a fade in or out, and play it to check.

    ### Save it

    Press Cut and save. The first time, we'll send a 6-digit code to your email. You get an MP3, or a WAV for the best quality.

How do I cut an MP3 online?

Choose the file above, drag the handles to the part you want (or type the start and end times), then press Cut and save. The cut part downloads as an MP3.

 Is my audio uploaded?

No. The file is cut in your browser and never leaves your device.

 How do I make a ringtone?

Pick up to 30 seconds (iPhone ringtones can be 40 seconds at most), add a short fade in and out, and save it as an MP3. On Android, set it as your ringtone in Settings > Sound. On iPhone, add it with GarageBand or the Finder.

 Which formats can I open?

Anything your browser can play: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC and the audio of most video files.

 How many files can I cut?

Free accounts get 20 runs a day. Cutting the same part of the same file again doesn't count.
