Track sounds, save favorites, and reuse searches

Choose how to keep useful sounds and filtered searches easy to find.

Track a sound for ongoing statistics, favorite it as a bookmark, or save a filtered search you plan to use again.

Track a sound for ongoing statistics

Track a sound when you want its statistics to keep updating. Your tracked sounds gives you a reliable ongoing view even after a sound is no longer popular enough to appear regularly in general discovery.

To start tracking:

  1. Open Your tracked sounds.
  2. Choose Track Sound.
  3. Paste the TikTok sound URL and add a tracking reason if it will help you remember why the sound matters.
  4. Confirm the sound.

You can also open a sound from a trend chart and choose Track Sound. Tracking is the sound equivalent of tracking a profile: it keeps the history you care about current.

Favorite a sound to bookmark it

A favorite sound is a bookmark that gives you a quick way back to the sound. Use Track Sound when you want its statistics to continue updating.

Use Your favorite sounds for sounds you want to remember without committing to ongoing tracking.

Open a sound and choose Favorite. Return to it from Your Dashboard > Your favorite sounds. Choose the favorite control again when you no longer need the bookmark.

Favorites keep useful sounds together without starting ongoing tracking.

Save a search when you regularly return to the same detailed filters:

  1. Open a Trends search and apply the filters you want.
  2. Choose Save this search or Save search.
  3. Open Your Dashboard > Your saved searches to run it again without rebuilding the filters.

A saved search stores its filters so you can open the same results again later.
